I am so excited to be able to say that the learn to code site is growing! I had the idea to have this website be a platform for learning and for promoting the various authors of the site, and it is now becoming a reality.
Learn to Code is going to bring you content from many different perspectives, which will hopefully help you learn coding better. There are many sites out there with tutorials on how to learn this or that programming language, and we will share our favorites with you too. But I don’t know of any other place where you can find such varied topics (all related to coding) by so many authors, in one site.
The mission for Learn to Code is to teach others how to code, and, in the process of teaching, to also learn ourselves. They say if you can’t do it, teach it. I always thought that was sarcastic, but it really is true. When you can teach something to someone, and they actually learn from you, you will better understand whatever it is you are teaching.
So, without further ado, I would like to formally welcome Elham, Priya, Leo, Nirmal, and William to the team here at Learn to Code. I will let them introduce themselves, in their own posts, but I will tell you that you are in for a real treat in learning from these amazing individuals.
Their passion and drive are incredible, as you will experience yourself, and they know what they are talking about. We have a few recent graduates of coding bootcamps (myself included) from around the country, a senior software developer, a data engineer, a game programmer and educator, and have invited a UI/UX designer to join us.
All in all, it is an incredible team, made up of some wonderful people, and we are all dedicated to helping you learn coding. Feel free to let us know if you have any specific languages and/or frameworks you would like to learn, and we can either write about them, or refer you to someone who might have more experience in that area.
Thank you, and happy learning.
